Let's try again!

Twice already, I started a blog and right before I post it, something goes wrong and I lose it! Aargh! Hopefully this time all goes well.

Has that ever happened to you? You are planning on doing something, you get some or all of your ducks in a row, then something goes haywire. Isn't that frustrating? Well, that's happened to me, but I just have to dust myself off and try again.

Just getting my book ready to launch today had so many bumps in the road. If it wasn't one thing, it was three others! Having authored four books independently now, I continue to learn things bit by bit, especially the publishing details - formatting and preparing for publication. And when your budget is limited, you have to do a lot of these things personally. This is time consuming and mistakes will be made. But that's just part of the indie publishing process.

There's so much to learn about the marketing aspect too! It's ever changing and overwhelming! Again, with a limited budget, you have to read articles, watch tutorials, and give things a try. After all, you can only tap your friends and family so much before it starts straining relationships, right? I am thankful for a very understanding, loving, encouraging, and supportive network. Thanks, guys.
